He answers the call with pride and you wave him off, eager for him to return.
Then one day your oldest brother is order by the king to lead an assault on some poor bastards held up some distance away. You were born into power and privilege and trained from birth to be a great warrior and legendary duelist. Imagine you're a knight whose lived this medieval life for years now. Here is my colony to get a better idea of what the base looks like:
Around 60ish managed to clear the field.įortunately I have enough corpses to fuel my genetic engineering for quadrums to come. I had to leave a skeleton crew there and send most to guard the North Defensive Line, where over 90 invaders died before they decided to retreat. They went around the east side of my base, and about a third split off into my Eastern Gate Channel, taking a total of 132 losses. All my ranged colonists are rocking either power armor or Hyperweave duster+flak vest, while the 'Gank Squad' are fully enhanced with Advanced Bionics (EPOE), Nanite Royal Plate Armor/Death Masks (Medieval Times) and shield belts. Fortunately the only casualties my side suffered was turrets, some minor injuries and a broken down autodoor (permadeath so no savescum either) just due to the tech disparity. 350 total medieval bandits, a whopping 2 FPS, and a 20 minute battle. This is why you read the incoming threats following refugees, especially in late game.
